Start with their exact address

Confirm the city, locality, PIN code, building and floor with your parent or someone nearby. Share these details with the booking team so coverage can be checked before a visit is arranged.

Agree on one local point of contact

Ask a family member, neighbour or other trusted person who will be available at the home to help with directions. Share their number with their permission. Keep your own number available too.

Ask your parent what they want to discuss

Let them describe their concerns in their own words. With their agreement, you can help prepare a short list of questions or relevant previous health information. Respect what they choose to share.

Confirm the visit together

Agree on the timing, fee, access arrangements and payment method with the team. Tell your parent who is expected to arrive and ask the team how any changes will be communicated.

Stay available without taking over

A quick check-in before and after the visit can help everyone stay informed. Any sharing of health information should follow the wishes and permission of the person receiving care.

This guide covers practical visit arrangements. It is not individual health advice. For severe or rapidly worsening symptoms, seek immediate in-person help rather than waiting for a home visit.
